How long does it take to obtain a medical license?
Licensing timelines vary by state and depend on several factors, including the licensing board's processing volume, the provider's professional history, and how quickly required primary-source verifications and supporting documentation are received. At LaunchPoint Solutions, our goal is to get your application prepared, submitted, and moving as efficiently as possible. We carefully review your information before submission to help identify potential deficiencies that could cause unnecessary delays, coordinate required documentation and verifications, and follow the application through the licensing process. Some state boards process applications relatively quickly, while higher-volume or more complex states may require additional time. We use secure processes and systems designed to safeguard the information entrusted to us and limit access to information necessary to perform the services you have requested. We also take confidentiality seriously throughout our communications, document management, and provider support processes.

No surprise service fees. At LaunchPoint Solutions, we believe you should understand your investment before work begins. Our professional service fees are established upfront based on the services you select. Licensing, credentialing, and payer enrollment may involve third-party expenses such as medical board application fees, verification fees, background checks, fingerprinting, shipping, or fees charged directly by regulatory agencies and other organizations. These expenses are separate from LaunchPoint Solutions' professional service fees and will be communicated whenever possible. What you won't receive from us are unexpected hourly charges for routine emails, phone calls, application follow-up, document preparation, or status updates associated with your agreed-upon service. Payer Enrollment →What states does LaunchPoint Solutions serve?
All 50 states. LaunchPoint Solutions provides medical licensing support nationwide for physicians applying through state Medical (MD) and Osteopathic (DO) licensing boards. We also assist eligible physicians with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), including establishing eligibility, obtaining a State of Principal License (SPL), and coordinating subsequent licenses through participating IMLC states. For credentialing, payer enrollment, provider onboarding, and other services, availability may vary based on the payer, organization, provider type, and requested scope.

No. While medical licensing is a significant part of what we do, LaunchPoint Solutions supports physicians, advanced practice providers, medical practices, groups, and healthcare organizations with a range of provider operations needs. Depending on the service, we can assist with licensing, credentialing, CAQH, NPPES/NPI, PECOS, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, commercial payer enrollment, medical staff applications, privileging, provider onboarding, and revenue cycle support.

We'll identify the services you need and provide a clear scope and fee before work begins. Once you decide to move forward, we'll collect the required provider and/or practice information and documentation. From there, LaunchPoint Solutions manages the process - preparing applications, coordinating documentation, submitting information where applicable, monitoring progress, responding to requests for additional information, and keeping you updated along the way. Our goal is to make a complicated administrative process feel organized, transparent, and manageable.

No licensing, credentialing, or enrollment company can guarantee approval because final decisions are made by the applicable licensing board, payer, hospital, government agency, or other governing organization. What we can promise is careful preparation, proactive follow-up, clear communication, and experienced support throughout the process. You focus on patient care.
